This is quite possibly my favorite juice, okay well maybe they are all my favorite but this one is, “WOW!” I have been getting many emails about juicing and I tell everyone the same thing — you have be committed to changing your eating habits to gain the maximum health benefits. Sure, if you want to lose some quick weight, doing a juice cleanse is great. But after it’s after its over, reverting back to your old eating habits will result in the same health issues that put you on the juice cleanse in the first place.
I also want to reiterate that if you decide to juice, please do your best keep a low fat diet, it is very important. Why? A low fat diet allows sugar to easily move in and out of your blood stream. If you have a fat in your diet, the fat can clog the walls of your blood vessel. This will cause your blood sugar to spike, which stresses your body and makes it work overtime to pass sugar out of your blood stream. A high-carb, low-fat raw or vegan diet is a great way to improve your health in all areas and really take advantage of the wonderful health effects of juicing!
- 6 Oranges
- 5 Kale Leaves
- 3 cups Grapes
- 1 Lemon
- Thumb of Ginger
- Place all ingredients in a juicer, strain, and drink immediately! If you have a slow juicer, you can refrigerant your juice up to 24 hours. ENJOY!! Xx
