Hydration, hydration, hydration! As soon as I wake up in the morning, I drink a liter of water to replenish my reserves and kick start my metabolism for the day ahead of me. Water is vital to our health and essential for nearly all major organ systems of the body to function properly. It helps cleanse the body by flushing toxins out, transporting nutrients and oxygen into cells, aids with metabolic processes, balancing our pH levels and so much more. By drinking at least 2-3 liters a day, you will notice how much healthier and supple you skin will appear and feel. On average, the adult human body is made up of 65% water. Our heart consists of 79% of water, the brain is 83%, and our blood is 90%. If you are feeling thirsty, you are already dehydrated. Dehydration is the #1 cause of fatigue and can also slow down your metabolism. I personally consume reverse osmosis water. It is clean, pure water without any harmful contaminants such as fluoride, chlorine, and lead. I highly suggested getting water that is fluoride-free due to the fact that fluoride calcifies the pineal gland.
